 Charles "Ed" Sloan, Jr., Broker in Charge

Ed Sloan was born and raised in Lake City, South Carolina.  He attended The Naval Academy aquiring a degree in Engineering.  He them received his Masters Degree in Business from George Washington University.   He has served as President, Senior Vice President and Account Executive with two Fortune 500 companies.  Ed received his Real Estate license in 1992 aquiring his Broker's license in 1995. He established and operated a property management and real estate investment company from inception to more than 4,000 apartment units and over 150 employees under his management.  Ed has now joined Carolina Realty & Property Management, LLC.

Shirley S. Young was born and raised in the Columbia, SC area. She has a wide variety of educational experiences to include a degree in Criminal Justice and Nursing. She has owned and operated an in-home nursing agency since 1998. Since early 2005 she has been an active Real Estate agent.

Shirley specializes in the Buyer's arena working with investor's as well as relocations and assisting all Buyers’ at any level. Her success has been largely due to her full service philosophy and dedication to her client's needs, not her own.

Born and raised in Columbia, Amber Compton began interning for InterMark Management Corporation, a local Property Management company, in high school.  After graduating from the College of Charleston she began her career in Property Management.  Initially she began as a leasing consultant, and through hard work soon became the manager of a new construction property in Mt. Pleasant, SC.  With seven years in this field, she moved back home to Columbia. where she earned her certificate in Appraisal, but decided she wanted to delve into renovating homes. After that exiting experience, including filming a ‘Flip That House’ episode which aired in March 2008, Amber knowing that Real Estate was her calling has gotten her real estate license. 

As you can, tell she brings vast knowledge to our team. She loves all that South Carolina has to offer and looks forward to assisting you in finding the home you have dreamed of owning.
